After a private beta, mSpot today launched its cloud-based music service. The subscription service lets users sync music from iTunes and folders with an online locker that they can then stream from other computers and phones. WHOIS� is now an officially registered Australian Trademark #1328861. The trademark was successfully registered by WHOIS Pty Ltd. Whois� is an Australian company with headquarters in Adelaide, South Australia.

Amazon isn't taking Apple 's impressive entry into the e-book market laying down. This morning it announced the ability to embed video and audio content in the Kindle applications that run on iOS, which powers iPhones, iPods, and iPads.
